Tucker woke up and ate more food than he has ate in months! He had eggs, bacon, sausage and fruit. We then went to have our morning xray and bloodwork.
Tucker received a special visit from the Children's Hospital Clowns today. What a treat!
What a beautiful day in Boston.
We met a wonderful Mother from Qatar today while we were playing in the playroom. She was here in the US with her youngest child of seven, six of them are boys. She was a kindergarten teacher which teaches English to students in her country. Her English was impeccable, her son was a one of the most well behaved which I have ever met. They were a delight to meet.
Tucker loved the playroom, everyday he wanted to play there.
X-rays and Tucker's labs come back and they are looking great! Guess who is going home? Since there is no reason for them to keep us, we will be set up with our old VNA and they will schedule a clinic visit for them to take Tucker's stitches out and do a follow up EKG. We will also have to touch base with Early Intervention and his pediatrician sometime next week.
It sure was a fitting discharge from our favorite NP, AnnMarie, she also discharged him at birth and after his Glenn. She also got Tucker's last Synagist vaccine approved prior to discharge. This is the last dose that he will be able to receive due to his age.
MAMA....WERE COMING HOME!
Spencer was so happy to see Tucker and Mommy, he was certainly a trooper during our hospital stay, last time Tucker was in the hospital he got into a lot of trouble in school. Spencer and Tucker were both put to bed around 8:30 and they talked/played for a while before they both fell asleep. It was wonderful to be in our own beds.
Nana had a special welcome home movie waiting for our arrival. FROZEN.. We had a wonderful family movie night (including popcorn)and everyone had a blast. (BTW...What a great soundtrack, but the movie....hated it!)
