Day 3 Part 3 Michelle Watson come on down...

Tucker still needs round the clock care, everything is still the same, trying to wean his oxygen and get him up and moving around so he can get all of that extra fluid out of his chest so he can have those central drains removed.  So for now, we are still in the CICU, but that is ok because we got a smile this afternoon from one of our favorite NP's who came to visit us today.  Annemarie has followed him since birth and Tucker LOVES to smile at her.

Still trying to wean off of his oxygen, currently he is at 2 litters the plan is for it to be gone along with the nasal cannula by tomorrow morning.

Lamby is going to get your belly game!  It was SO awesome to see him happy and smiling today, if only briefly.

Drank some apple juice on and off today...Voiding output is good, just still working on getting his drain tubes out will be a challenge.

Tucker was sleeping today so Mommy went down to Starbucks with Poodle, aka Donnie's BFF Shawn.  Cant believe I didn't get a photo of us there.  Thanks for breaking me out of this place Poodle.  I loved our conversation.  xo

When I returned I had missed a visit from Rev. Mary today. She was so kind, she prayed for Tucker and his amazing support system.

My wonderful friend Jen stopped by today and put the largest smile on our little boys face.  It has been a long time since both of them have been this happy.  So glad that I caught the joyous moment in this wonderful  photo.

For those of you that do not know, Jen is an amazing writer and has an art of giving the most amazing gifts.  This might be one of the reasons that she is Tucker's Godmother.  She brought Tucker the Dr Seuss Go Dog Go and wrote the inscription in it that states, GO TUCKER GO...Adorable!  Jen and Scott also brought us a lovely dinner, some great food magazines for Mommy, Daddy's favorite treat, and a fantastic banana bread too!

Mommy was solo tonight as Daddy had to go home and get Spencer off of the school bus today, good news is that Spencer has a professional development day tomorrow so we are hoping that he gets to come up with Nana and Daddy to visit.  It will be a nice treat for everyone.

While Jen was here Tucker wanted to play with his Dora balloon from Lolly, he had a blast hitting Dora.  WAIT...OK...Maybe we shouldn't let him hit little girls.  (Mother of the year...NOT SO MUCH!)

I have saved the best news for last tonight.  Let me first start by saying that I have NEVER won anything!  OK, maybe that is a lie.  When I was in the 3rd grade, my mother worked at Digital and sold a bunch of beach towels.  Like an obscene amount!  I believe I won a bike, because I sold the most in Kane School.  It was a huffy Pink banana seat bike.

A few months ago a friend introduced me to Shakology.  I have been blendin my drinks everyday for months and my blender was starting to die, however, since money has been SO tight since I lost my job after Christmas, I had started to save for a Ninja Blender so I could continue making these.  I entered a smoothie contest a few weeks ago and I just received this letter in the mail.

THATS RIGHT!  This girl WON a Vitamix!  I am so thrilled!  Thank you Carly for mentioning this contest to me!  Now I know that I will be able to make all the Shakology and smoothies for the kids as they will eat.

SIDENOTE: Should anyone like to order any Beachbody products or Shakology from their NEWEST Beachbody COACH...Here is the link to my website which is still under some development.
